Documentary Photography

Charlotte is a documentary photographer capturing people in every social aspect from daily street life to new families to weddings. She has a passion for social documentary with a core interest of capturing people in unguarded moments giving her a style that allows her to slip into the background as she documents the environment making her perfect for people who may not enjoy being in front of a camera and giving her a varied range of images within her portfolio.

She has worked alongside other photographers giving her a solid basis of professional practice and always aims to create a wide range of high quality images to look back on that prioritise authenticity over all else.

My practice,

My focuses are street images, families and weddings all from a social documentation standpoint. I love creating images that show genuine moments and interactions of people no matter the situation.

When on shoots for events such as weddings and family shoots I focus on capturing everything as it takes place in a candid style focusing on real emotions and genuine moments.

Photography to me is a way to snapshot all of our memories and give them a physical form to remember them by and I hope that within my work I can share this and allow you to have memories to look back on for years to come.

My work explores all the different parts of life capturing it in a way that amplifies the uniqueness of each day. I have a focus on candid style work and believe the most important part of an image is expressing exact and true moments making me perfect for people who don’t want to worry about posing for a camera.
